Bedroom Update With Serena and Lily
Hello and welcome to the blog!!! I recently did a bedroom update in my daughter Violet’s room. I have had my eye on the Balboa bed from Serena and Lily for quite some time. I love the rattan, the color and the texture it adds! It has a nice coastal vibe that my daughter was wanting in her room.
I already had a good supply of Serena and Lily bedding because it really is some of the best quality bedding out there. The flax color is one of my favorite colors ever!! My daughter wanted to have pink so I kept her pink duvet on the bed and layered it with the Serena and Lily duvet cover in Navy Chambray. I just folded the duvet cover like a throw blanket and placed it on top. I am all about layers when it comes to making a bed!
Of course you Know I had to add pillows!! That cute seagull pillow I found years ago at Homegoods. I call it Serena and Lily vintage! When I ordered the Balboa Bed I also ordered a couple new pillows. When I saw the Sequoia Pillow Cover I fell in love!! I always like to mix neutrals with colors. Having a neutral base is always a good idea, then you bring in pops of color with throws and pillows.
I always prefer to have a bench at the end of a bed when possible. I feel like it finishes off the space. I also like to place a throw blanket on the bed. It’s a great way to add color and texture, plus it comes in handy when you get chilly!
If you are looking to do a bedroom update, I highly recommend checking out Serena and Lily. Not only is the selection so good, but the quality and service is equally as good. The bed was delivered professionally and neatly. Adam really appreciated not having to put it together. Thank you for stopping by the blog and thank you to Serena and Lily for sponsoring this post.
