This has been my go to chili recipe for years! When I'm feeling extra lazy I just use a chili seasoning packet!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground turkey or beef
- Olive oil to brown the meat
- 1 Medium Onion- diced
- 2½ tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) can petite diced tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- Add olive oil to pot. Add onions, cook until translucent, about 5 min.
- Add ground turkey or beef, cook until brown and cooked through
- Add chili powder, cumin, sugar, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper
- Stir until well combined
- Add diced tomatoes
- Add can of pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- Bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and simmer low for 20 min.
- Serve with sour cream, cheese, onions, jalapeños and chips!!! Yummy!
