How To Style Picture Ledges
Picture ledges are one of the most versatile ways to fill a wall. They are so easy to change and restyle without leaving holes in the wall! You can also add plants, books, and decor pieces to create a curated collection. To make them look effortlessly put together, I have some tips for you!
- You’ll want to have different sized frames for layering and height variation. Selecting a couple different styles of frames will help create a more interesting look.
- Start by adding your biggest pieces first. Then you will add the next size down, and so on.
- Leaving a little space, either between the frames or at the ends of the ledge, will keep it from looking too heavy and cluttered.
- For a cohesive and purposeful look, choose a theme. This could be the type of artwork, colors, etc. It could even be neutrals with a pop of color.
- Have fun with it! There are so many ways to style them! If you have commitment issues when it comes to wall decor, picture ledges are for you!
