Outdoor Dining Make Over With Overstock

Hello and welcome to the blog!! Today I will be sharing my new outdoor dining area make over. I partnered with Overstock for this project because Overstock has a huge selection of outdoor furniture and rugs. So it made it easy for me to find exactly what I wanted without having to search through different websites.

So here’s a quick look at what the space looked like before. My old dining set was a hand me down from my mom when I first got married 13 years ago! I have been wanting to change this space up for a long time! It was time to get something a little more modern.

The first item I came across on the Overstock website was this cute Indoor and Outdoor Rectangular Faux Wood Slatted 51 Inch Black Table. The X detail on the sides and wood looking slats are what drew me to it. Plus I wanted a smaller rectangular table for the space, so this table was the perfect size! The other great part about this table is it has a powder coated black finish and durable poly synthetic eco-wood slats which means zero maintenance and great durability. Since this area isn’t covered I needed a table that could with stand the weather.

The faux wood slats look so realistic! The only difference is the maintenance. While I love real wood it just requires a lot of maintenance especially when it’s exposed to the elements. I feel like faux wood is the best of both worlds. You get the look of wood but without all the maintenance.

Once I had the table picked out I searched for the perfect chairs. Thankfully Overstock has a great selection of outdoor dining chairs. So finding the perfect chair was easy! It was love at first sight when I saw these Safavieh Salcha Indoor-Outdoor French Bistro Black/ White Stacking Side Chairs.I have seen many versions of these chairs but never this cute black and white pattern. The Safavieh Salcha chairs are Inspired by classic European bistro chairs, and are crafted of black and white wicker and aluminum faux bamboo for easy care. I know these chairs will stand the test of time and weather so they were just what I needed!

The chairs are just as pretty from the front as they are from the back! They make a statement all on their own!

Of course no outdoor dining area is complete without a fabulous rug! I was so impressed with Overstock’s selection of outdoor rugs! There are so many to choose from and at great prices too. I loved the clean look of the nuLOOM Indoor/Outdoor Venetian Pinstripes Area Rug. It is a nice soft grey color and the white pin stripes give it just a little something extra. The rug was the finishing touch the space needed!! My previous outdoor set was iron so it would leave rust stains on my concrete and rugs. Since my new set is made out of quality materials I don’t have to worry about that anymore.
