So here are some simple ways I make my life a little bit easier and little more organized! I started using storage shelves about a year ago, and I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to use them! They double your storage space and help your cabinets stay more organized. Now I can stack plates two high, and see all my plates much better. I also use the storage shelves for my coffee cups, which has really helped keep my cabinets organized.

I have been putting hampers in each of my kid’s closets for years now. This has been one of the easiest things I have done to help make my life easier! When my kids get dressed they can easily put their dirty clothes into the hamper instead of on the floor! And when it’s time for me to do laundry I just grab their hamper and take it into the laundry room. My kid’s rooms used to be covered with clothes on the floor! I keep mine in my master closet, since that’s where most of the dirty laundry ends up. I use two bags for colored clothes and one for whites. The hamper is on wheels making it easy to move around and the bags are removable so you can carry it to the laundry room. That is the best part in my opinion because my laundry room is on the other side of the house, so being able to carry the clothes in a bag keeps me from having to make several trips, and dropping half the clothes on the way to the laundry room!  Plus you can wash the laundry bags too, so they stay nice and fresh. Alright my last thing that helps make life a bit easier is this Flexible Dryer Vent Cleaner. I just realized most of my tips are laundry related lol! Must be because I spend 90% of my life doing laundry…well at least it feels like that much! I discovered this nifty gadget about 6 months ago when I couldn’t get my laundry lint catcher to slide all the way into the slot. I thought the lint catcher was broken, but I came to discover that there was so much excess lint in the slot, that it wouldn’t let the lint catcher sit flush on the bottom. I bought the Dryer Vent Cleaner, after unsuccessfully trying several other ways to get the lint out, and was blown away by how much lint it removed! It’s skinny and flexible so it fits perfecting into the slot. You put it in and move it all around. Keep pulling it out and emptying the lint off until it comes out clean. Now I try to clean the slot regularly. It is the easiest way I found to clean out the excess lint.
